New MOT Tester Training - Runcorn Academy Upcoming Course Availabilty
We have availability for our New MOT Tester Training course at the RMI Academy of Automotive Skills in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Course Overview This is a three day course (plus on-site assessment) for experienced technicians who would like to become an MOT tester. Course Structure The training days the course will cover:
Relevant acts and regulations
Tools for the job
When you can refuse to begin a test
Use of the testing manual
Standards and procedures
Documentation and security
Use of the online MOT testing service
Routine inspection
Classes of vehicle
Qualification
On completion of the course, a candidate will be qualified as an MOT tester, having achieved the National Occupational Standard for the role. Once this qualification has been awarded, a candidate will be able to apply to the DVSA to be authorised as an MOT tester.
Course Availability The next available New MOT Tester Training (Class 4&7) course at the RMI Academy in Runcorn is:
Tuesday 8th August - Thursday 10th August

Cost This course costs £495 + VAT for RMI Members.
